Our business tenant's office is also within the home and is usually there during weekdays. There are deadbolts on all doors between guests and our business tenant so no one will be sharing space with you. (Sorry, we aren't set up for guests under 8 yrs old). Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College is near by. Visit High Bridge State Park for hiking and Greenfront is a shopping destination. Lots of dining options will appeal to every taste and plenty of other activities to enjoy in this area. There is no phone-internet or satellite at The Hide-A-Way, Cell phones do work.

Looking for a place to escape the fast life? Well, look no more! You can relax on the front porch sipping a cup of coffee or grill out on the back deck! Grab a fishing pole and head down the hill to the creek in the back yard and fish the day away. This cottage sits on a small waterfront property where you can enjoy it! A small firepit is located at the back deck to enjoy also! We're located one mile off of hwy 95 an 301 about 5 miles from hwy 58 an town too!

Farm House Retreat

This quaint 1743 farmhouse has been lovingly restored and offers a quiet reprieve from the city or rest from a long drive. We are at the end of a private road and are nestled among 70 acres of hardwood forest. Nights are dark and quiet and days are filled with free ranging chickens and guinea fowl. We are diligently rebuilding native habitat and work on site. Our home is on the property across the ponds. A confirmed identity is required for booking.
