This classic cottage is in the Golden Circle route, east of Þingvellir lake. The cottage is 28m2, you will have a big terrace where you can relax and cook food on the grill. About 10min walk to Þingvellir lake, where it is allowed to fish. Approx. 35-40min drive to Geysir. The space This is an open space cottage, where the kitchen is well equipped so all you need to bring is your groceries. The bathroom has a shower and a blow dryer. This cottage is suitable for a couple with two 90cmx2m beds.

Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

You can see the northern light from the top and have the breakfast with an amazing view but there are no cooking facility. It is a horse farm and you can see horses from the top floor and a hot spring in the middle of the river.
