Walks through the surrounding countryside crisscross throughout the village and its just a short 18 min walk to the train station where trains run to York (11 mins) and Leeds (15 mins). Quiet village location, with on-site free secure CCTV parking, close to motorways and places of interest. Short driving distance of Leeds and the historic city of York. South Milford train station just a 2 minutes drive. Our location is suitable for both business and pleasure. Close by; we have Fairburn Ings, Xcape/ Junction 32 shopping outlet and Sherburn Aero Club.

There is a frequent and reliable bus service into York and Leeds located a stones throw from the property. Free parking available.

Buses run regularly to Selby, York Designer Outlet and York City Centre.

The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
