A short walk to the Lake Mac waterfront & 2 min drive to Toronto's fantastic restaurants, cafes, retail & supermarkets.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group or family trips. Views that make you feel like you are on top of the world. Relax in the many large spaces this open plan home enjoys or unwind with a drink n BBQ watching the sunset over the lake. Perhaps take a 5 min walk to the cosmopolitan cafes/restaurants and lakeside pleasures. Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, private cottage is set on a working horse property. It is perfect for a couple's getaway or single traveller to explore the beautiful Hunter Valley. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive away and Port Stephens 1 hour.

Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. By car it’s a 20 minute drive to Newcastle, Merewether and Nobbys beach. The closest major shopping centres are Mt Hutton, Charlestown and Kotara.
