Welcome to our family holiday home. Our charming, secluded cottage can comfortably sleep up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom (not tall enough to stand). A hot tub with jets is great for watching the northern lights. 1 hour drive from Reykjavik 20 minutes from Borgarnes. An ideal base for day trips to the south and west of Iceland. Enjoy beautiful Icelandic nature, in the idyllic Skorradalur valley, nestled between an 18km long lake, mountains, birch trees, brooks and more.

The cabin is located in a beautiful and quiet surroundings with many opportunities for great hikes and other nature experiences all year round, not far from Reykjavík and only ten minutes drive from the town of Borgarnes. There you can find all essentials, visit museums and shops and indulge at our favorite café, Kaffi Kyrrð.

The place is just outside Town of Borganes (5 km) where you can find a discount store. Interesting places nearby are Langjökull, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver (hot spring) and Snæfellsjökull. Also short drive to Reykjavik (80 km) and Golden Circle.

Cozy, little and old cottage about 90min drive from Reykjavik and 30min from Borgarnes, close to the river Nordura. The view is magnificent. Svartagil is about 3 km from the main road nr. 1, on road nr. 528. It has two bedrooms, one with 1,40m bed and another with 1,20m. Bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is a hot tub. Lítið gamalt sumarhús á bökkum Norðurár í Borgarfirði. Umhverfið er einstaklega fallegt. Í sumarbústaðahverfi, mjög rólegt og afslappandi.

Our 78 square meter 1 bedroom cottage is located 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik. The cottage is luxurious and has an outdoor natural water hot tub from where you can enjoy the Northern Lights or the fantastic sunset. The living area and the balcony have a spectacular view overlooking the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a great base for day tours in the south or west of Iceland. Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir and Snæfells glacier are all within 1-2 hours’ drive.

Enjoy nature and amazing views in our beautiful cottage in the mountains of Borgarfjörður - 1 hour drive from Reykjavík. The cottage was built in 2013 - 2015 but has a classic and simple style. There is electric heating, a gas stove and outdoor cooking area. The cottage is close to Krauma geothermal bath and the town of Borgarnes where you can go to stores, museum and restaurants.

The cabins are part of Hotel Hafnarfjall resort. In the cabins you can really feel the nature around. You have an exceptional view of the ocean and Hafnarfjall mountain on the other side. Borgarnes town is just across the bridge, where you can find restaurants and supermarket. Breakfast is not included in the price and it's additionally paid in the hotel reception.
