The Granary Beehive Cottage - Rural Retreat

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE IN A RURAL Area (and access is down NARROW LANES ,The Granary is an self contained apartment above an old barn which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard , it is a romantic county side escape perfect for a couple to relax and enjoy the beautiful Devon countryside as this is in a working farm you may experience some noise tractors ,cocks crowing ,geese ,some farm machinery repairs in the day,sheep,cows,dogs.and low flying helicopters ,and the odd military jet .

Dartmoor National Park Stable Cottage North Bovey

Situated in the ancient Dartmoor settlement of Hookner, Lower Hookner Farm nestles between the heights of King Tor and Easdon Tor in a secluded valley at the end of a quiet lane. The picturesque village of North Bovey is about 2 miles away. The farm has woodland, fields and streams offering a profusion of wild flowers and wild life, which visitors are welcome to explore. In addition our gates give you direct access to the open moor and the Mariners' way footpath runs through the farm.

Peaceful location, stunning views to Dartmoor

This lovely self contained wooden chalet (The Roadhouse) is set in a quiet rural location near Bovey Tracey with stunning views over the fields to Dartmoor. Surrounded by 100 acres of nature reserve, home to many rare species, a walkers/nature lovers paradise with many birds, butterflies and dragonflies. There are some excellent pubs nearby, Exeter is only 20 minutes, 10 miles to the coast and close to Dartmoor, Ashburton and Newton Abbot. The heating is a woodburner. Very cosy.

Cosy garden annexe consisting of en-suite double bedroom, open plan living/dining/kitchen area, and shower room. There is a single sofa bed in the living area suitable for one adult. It has its own front door with access straight out onto patio and garden. Situated conveniently for Dartmoor, the sea, Exeter and Torbay. Opportunities for cycling and walking, or a relaxing break. Chudleigh 5 minute walk to amenities, local country pubs, shops, pottery studio and more. A sunny south facing garden perfect for sunbathing, reading a book on the outside sofa. Enjoy our 6 person Scandinavian Sauna and Ice bath for the ultimate contrast therapy.

Hideaway near Ashburton Cookery School, parking

The Garden Flat is located in a listed building within easy walking distance of Ashburton Cookery School and the lovely shops and cafes in our tiny town. Dartmoor National Park is on our doorstep and the stunning South Devon coastline is just a short drive away. One dedicated parking space. One well behaved dog is welcome, there is a fee of £30 per stay to bring one dog.
