A mile away, you'll find Deep Eddy Pool (spring fed and open year round), Lion's Municipal Golf Course (18 holes in the heart of Austin), and Lake Austin's waterfront dining. There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Please note that Via Libre is an upstairs apartment without elevator access. Via Libre requires a 2 night minimum on weekends. We are happy to work with you to accommodate special requests. You can also enjoy a nice BBQ in the outdoor cabana furnished with a Blackstone grill, full-size refrigerator and outdoor TV. It's also the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful bookcation or stay in and binge-watch all your favorite movies and shows. This slice of heaven is the perfect quiet getaway to relax and unwind.

The Tree Haus is 675 sq. ft., near Texas State University on five acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. River play and trail access in local area. It is 6 miles from downtown San Marcos and convenient to TSU (about 10 minutes to Bobcat Stadium). The Tree Haus is above my Studio, has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea service as well as a homemade breakfast bread for a fast start in the AM. We do not accept children under 8, non smoking, no pets, clean environment.

There is a hot tub under the trees that is yours to enjoy. We are close to the Cultural/Museum district, Trinity Trails, TCU, West 7th and a short walk to the cutest restaurants, bars and shopping in Fort Worth on Magnolia Ave. The carriage house would be a perfect space for solo travelers or couples.
