We are within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. It’s tucked in a historic, beautiful peaceful place where you can rest your mind and refresh your soul.

With a deck overlooking the water, a comfy bed, and plenty of outdoor space, it covers all points of interest! A great hideaway spot for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families!

The cozy cottage is nestled along the bank of the Atchafalaya River, a few miles south of interstate 10 and half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. Drive through your own little private swamp as you enter the property before it opens up to the cottage. The front porch is only steps away from the river. Large windows line the front of the home so you will have a wonderful view wherever you’re at. It is a perfect place to relax while surrounded by nature.

Comfy and cozy get away. I am NOT LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, so if you stay here please understand that you could be 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination

Our cabin is called La Libellule. It is a wonderful little cabin on Lake Martin in Breaux Bridge, La. Amenities include a king size bed, screened in porch, shaded deck, fire pit, washer, dryer, 2 tvs, internet and a full kitchen. There are generally fresh herbs in the garden depending on what time of year you come. The dragon flys are glorious here and if you are lucky you can see a pinkish red one. There is a lovely walking trail nearby.

Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Coffee, cream, and sugar provided.. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting.
