Perfect place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston or Austin, and a great base camp to hit up Round Top weekends and/or all that Austin County has to offer. And in the springtime, come stay amongst the bluebonnets. They cannot be beat!

Welcome to The Cottage at Chappell Hill. Imagine waking up in a charming Victorian farmhouse perched above a private pond. Built in 1900, this historic jewel faces Main St. and is 1/2 mile from unique shops, diners, and landmarks in a tiny, Hallmark-type town (pop. of 300). Brenham is 7 miles away. Once known as the “Healing House” owned by artist Kiki Newmann, this is the perfect romantic spot to unwind, celebrate special moments, explore nearby wineries, and create cherished memories.

Our most secluded cottage pays homage to George and Barbara Bush and the contributions and impacts they made in their lifetimes. This light and airy cottage is reminiscent of their Walker Point estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. The Poppy and Bar has a queen-sized bed in each of it’s two bedrooms, as well as in the loft. There are two full bathrooms with a soaking tub in one and shower in the other, This unit includes a full-sized washer and dryer.

The Blue Cottage Retreat is a renovated two bedroom, one bath home located in the historical area of Brenham. Easy access to and from the Brenham area and a quiet neighborhood. Guests will have access to the entire house and large yard. There is ample parking for two cars or more on the property and on the street. Marburger Farm is only a mile and Junk Gypsy is 3 miles. It is walking distance to all of Warrenton. During the antique show you are next to all the great shopping.
