A self contained cottage with the use of a Tennis Court and a beautiful private walled garden which is accessed through patio doors from the living space. It’s set in unspoilt peaceful countryside yet only a 5 minute drive into Stock Village with its four outstanding pubs, cafe and Greenwood’s Hotel and Spa. A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, a toaster and an air fryer. We can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

The Barn, beautiful rural retreat

The Barn is located within the grounds of our Grade 2 listed Cottage and yet is far enough away from the main house to allow our guests privacy. The property offers two luxurious double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and bath. The light and spacious living / kitchen area is fully equipped with all appliances including a dishwasher and provides comfortable seating for all our guests. Guests will receive a welcome pack of goodies on arrival.

Village cricket ground. 3 pubs all serving great food. West Horndon and Shenfield Station with trains traveling to London regularly. Fords at Dunton approximately 3 miles away.
