A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. Located just 60 miles north of Olympia on the on the scenic Hood Canal, Weather-N-Heights resort was lovingly built and enjoyed by my parents for many years. Recently updated to it's original splendor, it sits right on the shore with spectacular views looking south down the canal. This property has it all. Whether it is swimming, fishing or watching the local wildlife right from the deck or hiking, waterfalls and exploring everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer within a short drive.

You may wake up to the sound of a rooster crowing as you steep a fresh cup of coffee before you head out on your adventure exploring all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

Besides a hot tub and sauna this property has an outside pergola with a fire table, bbq and wood fire pit. Perfect for those who enjoy peaceful days in woods and stargazing at night.

This one room dry cabin (no running water) is a rustic retreat in a beautiful setting on our property. Lots of light. It has electricity, WiFi, table & chairs, double bed, heat, ceiling fan, AC, picnic table, and a fantastic view. No running water, no kitchen, no bathroom. There is a clean portapotty near parking. Quiet hrs 9p-7a. A small porch is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful river valley and some peace and quiet! One leashed dog allowed, no cats.

Sunrise and sunset paint the sky in hues of gold and indigo, creating a mesmerizing canvas that changes with each passing moment.

Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.
