Lovely Private Setting, walk to beach.

A five minute drive to downtown Newport, and a few minutes walk to Sachuest Beach, this above-garage guesthouse is detached from the main residence with its own private entrance. There is a large living area and a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The living room sofa converts to a bed, so the property is ideal for 2 people, however, the sleep sofa can accommodate 2 more. There is no extra charge for children under the age of 18. We are dog friendly. There's a $25 charge for a second dog.

Our back deck is a delightful place to relax and enjoy the shaded backyard, which has a fire pit, BBQ, swing, hammock and an outdoor hot tub (requires signed terms of use agreement)

The house is a 2-bedroom, one bath, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and washer and dryer for your convenience. Sit and relax on the deck that is surrounded by nature and birds. You can also enjoy a great grilled meal on the deck as well. The owner (me) lives in a studio cottage located on the property, with ample amount of space/privacy one is looking for.
