Fisherman's cottage in Bristol has been a labor of love for us since we purchased it in October of 2022. We have spent every bit of our available free time renovating + decorating and have loved every minute! There is so much history not only in our historic town of Bristol, but also in this house which was occupied for the previous 20 years by local fishing legend "Mickey" who did much of the woodwork himself. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit our "Sherman House" is surely it.

Our beautiful single level home is centrally located with easy access to beaches, island ferries, Providence, Newport and Boston. We have new beds and appliances, along with the comfort of central air conditioning. Easy stroll to both downtown Bristol, the Town Beach, East Bay Bike Path, and Colt State Park. Our back deck is a delightful place to relax and enjoy the shaded backyard, which has a fire pit, BBQ, swing, hammock and an outdoor hot tub (requires signed terms of use agreement)

The Golden Dream Suite.

The space is a cozy, very roomy & quiet. The Suite is decorated with Coastal decor from New England and Sanibel Island. It includes a private bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed. The living room has an entertainment center with a TV, Dvd, WiFi, couch, electric recliner, Mini fridge, microwave & Kuerig coffee maker. The area is located in the lower half of the house and has a private entrance with a lock & key. The suite is private from the living area of the homeowner.

One large bedroom Suite with a King-size bed, private bathroom with shower, TV, WiFi and private entrance with French doors leading to deck and fenced yard. Your own parking spot in driveway. Quick walk down the street to the East Bay Bike Path and several Bristol bay access areas. 30 minute drive to Newport or Providence. Approximately a 1.5 mile drive/walk to downtown Bristol.
