The mountain cabin is on 2.5 acres of private and quiet surroundings. This perfect location is just 10 minutes from both downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. The natural Stone fireplace adds a romantic atmosphere to this special rustic cabin. Lakes, rivers, creeks and hiking trails are nearby, as well as skiing, cave exploring and even rip- lines for a special thrill. Tweetsie Railroad is just 15 minutes away. Appalachian University is just 10minutes away. There are many wonderful restaurants too.

Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Our home is also close to Westglow, less than 5 minutes to the BRP/Price Lake/Moses Cone, and .3 mile to the Asutsi trailhead which connects you to ALL east side trails of Grandfather Mountain and is the only access point for these trails in winter.
