Country Living

Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

Coal Lake Cozy

Experience serenity at our charming cabin on the tranquil south shore of a 171-acre lake. This peaceful retreat sleeps up to four guests and offers easy access to the water, with public boat access near by. Enjoy the convenience of a shared dock with property owners, perfect for your boating adventures. Our friendly hosts will meet you in person, provide a quick tour, and ensure you have everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Embrace comfort and natural beauty of a lakeside escape.

Private Cottage w/Queen Bed + Lakes, golfing, etc.

Beautiful, cozy cottage located on owner's property. Surrounded by lakes (however not on one), world-class golf, towering pine trees and amazing restaurants and shopping. You will have the cottage to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed, also a full bath. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep two more. We are walking distance to Pequot Lakes, and just a 10 minute drive to Breezy Point or Nisswa for an amazing shopping experience. We welcome friendly, fully vetted dogs.

Cabeezoe ( half cabin / half gazebo )

Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

“Tiny Timber” Scandi cabin W/ Sauna, plunge tub!

Escape to the serenity of the Tiny Timber cabin, where stunning nature views and modern comfort await. This charming 450 sqft cabin offers a cozy respite from the hustle and bustle, with breathtaking scenic views that will leave you in awe. Nestled within reach -fantastic lakes, nearby restaurants, and a host of recreational activities, this is the perfect base for your getaway. Unwind, have a campfire, enjoy the sauna, play games or simply relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

The Barn Inn at Solid Rock

Our newly remodeled barn has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a full kitchen. We have a beautiful great room for everyone to comfortably hang out together. Enjoy your coffee on the deck, taking in the peaceful country morning. Spend evenings around the fire gazing at the brilliant, starry sky. Located 5 miles from the Lincoln Lakes area, 7 miles from Pine Ridge Golf Course, 35 minutes from the Brainerd Lakes area and all its attractions, 1/2 mile off the vast snowmobile trail system

The Lake Place - A-Frame on Lake Miltona w/ Sauna

The Lake Place is a brand new A-frame cabin built to share our favorite place with you! Make memories in the cozy living room with friends around the electric fireplace, climb the ladder to the 3rd story loft for the view or perfect kid’s hideout, or open the oversized patio doors to visit the lake, just steps from our back door!
