The Cottage at Honey Creek

All Airbnb’s are not alike. We are more of a destination Cottage. If you love nature, like to relax, this is it! Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. Beautiful flower beds show their vibrant colors along side the tranquility of Honey Creek!

Towels and Washcloths supplied. *A beautiful back porch to relax and see some amazing sunrises. *Outside Cooking areas. Fire Place and Grill. Wood & Gas supplied. * No pets allowed. A beautiful place to take it easy at this unique and tranquil cottage. Tucked back in the foot hills of Shade Mountain where there are public trails for exploring. At times you may also see some wildlife.

It started as a place to let the horses catch a breath and a bite of grass and the riders a long gaze of the awesome view. Today our forth generation still enjoys the view from the front porch swing along with a guest list of exceptional size. Please come and enjoy our piece of paradise. Milroy Mansion

Our Milroy Mansion sits on quiet street off of Rt 322 just 30 min from State College. The home was renovated between 2022-23 with new flooring, windows, metal roof, and paint inside and out. We are pet friendly. A small part of the yard has been fenced in and a dog run connects to the storage shed. The 10x20 shed has room for storage if needed. The property is minutes from Kish creek a well-known class A trout stream. Great restaurants nearby. Covered porch, gas grill and fire pit.

Jack’s Creek Farm Side Getaway

Come forget your worries in this spacious and serene house. Enjoy hearing the babbling creek while you sleep or sit on one of the porches. Or watch the Angus cattle meandering in the meadow. Don’t forget to keep an eye peeled for the Bald Eagle who love to catch fish in the trout stream. Whitetail deer and wood ducks are also a common site. A relaxing oasis for adults and kids alike, our 1930s Cape Cod is situated along a quiet walking/biking trail and is well-equipped for long and short stays alike. Enjoy our indoor fireplace on cold winter nights, the breezy screened-in porch for your morning coffee or evening drink, and river frontage for hot sunny days. We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

We are only 35 minutes from Penn State, Lake Raystown is only 45 minutes, Mifflin Co. airport is 5 min, 3.5 miles from 322. Enjoy relaxing and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the deer and beautiful country scenery. Guests are welcome to give the deer treats. Private outdoor fire pit. And local Amish produce and wineries just down the road!
