Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.

Unwind on the expansive deck furnished with bean bags, outdoor dining settings, a gas BBQ, and a custom-built woodfired oven. Inside, cozy up by the warm pellet fire, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and savor the views. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, heated floor tiles, a handmade timber vanity, and a concrete hand basin. Come and experience ultimate relaxation at Baywatch Bruny Island!

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.
