Villa Ellza on shore of Lake Ohrid

Villa Elza is on the very shore of Lake Ohrid, in the fishermen’s neighborhood of Kaneo. In its three bedrooms on the upper floor, the house has seven beds and two bathrooms. The main bedroom and the small terrace overlook the lake. The roomy, old-fashioned kitchen boasts all modern facilities, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The large living room overlooking the lake is connected with the two terraces, the lower of the two being used as a private beach. The house has Internet and cable TV.

This is a perfect hideaway from city hustle and traffic noise. The tiny house is simple and beautiful. We turned the strong walls of the Ottoman building 15th century into a unique dwelling. Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.
