The 🍌Banana House🍌 sits just above the shore of Lake Ruhondo in Rwanda's beautiful Twin Lakes and Volcanoes Region. A cosy interior, a coffee and tea station, a banana book library, a bath room tiled with local volcano stones, a solar heated hot shower and quality mattresses are some of the features you will love. The Banana House is great for families (with kids) or a small group of friends. Couples or solotravellers are also very welcome and will enjoy the space and comfort.

Escape at Lake Burera

Take a break at this unique and scenic cottage. Settled amidst beautifully preserved eucalyptus trees, you will find an inviting cottage overlooking lake Burera. The cottage is composed of a large double bedroom, a lounge (that can be used as a second room), an en suite, an outside shower and a separate lounge/bar gazebo with a fully functioning kitchen. Mon camping est niché sur les rives du lac Ruhondo. Ici, vous profiterez d’une vue imprenable sur le lac et ses îles, et sur le majestueux volcan Muhavura, le tout dans une ambiance très paisible. Nombreuses balades autour et sur le lac. Differents services à la demande : cuisine, guide, courses, lessive, eau (qu'il faut aller chercher à la source si besoin). Le campsite se situe à 30' à moto de la station de bus de Musanze et il y a de nombreuses connexions via le lac!

Eric's Countryside Haven

This new (2023) home is purpose-built for giving adventurers a safe haven. It's in a village just seven miles from Volcanoes National Park which features 60 mi² of rainforest, rare mountain gorillas, and five of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains. It's also three miles from Musanze City and ten miles from Kisoro, Uganda so while it offers a slice of village life and easy access to the Park, the cities are a short cab ride away.

Dieser Ort heißt Kara Pond. Er liegt in der Nähe des Mukungwa-Flusses, an der Straße von Kigali nach Musanze, etwa vier Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Kara Pond ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort, umgeben von viel Natur, mit zahlreichen Vögeln fisch Teich und wunderschönen Pflanzen. Es wirkt wie ein kleines Waldgebiet – eine einzigartige Oase in unmittelbarer Nähe des Mukungwa-Flusses.
