Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Staves Cottage - A newly renovated bespoke space for guests to enjoy all that Moray and the highlands have to offer. Set just minutes away from the beach you can enjoy peaceful walks or venture further afield to explore various attractions. Activities such as Distillery tours, fishing or clay pigeon shooting can be arranged (at additional costs). Self check in is available but hosts are on hand should you require assistance. Braeside Cottage, is located in the middle of our Estate.. A comfortable cottage offering a cosy sitting room with fireplace, Austrian Style dining corner and a fully equipped kitchen.Hot tub is there for you to relax and for private use. The bathroom with toilet is located downstairs, shower and separate bath. There is a surcharge of GBP 8 p.d. per pet (max of 2 pet). Upstairs are two bedrooms. Laundry service is available upon request if you stay longer than 5 nights.
