Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Cosy Loft with Garden, Quiet Village Location

In the heart of the peaceful village of Appleby Magna is our converted loft apartment. It has its own small, fenced garden and patio with off-street parking. Well-equipped with Wifi, smart TV, gas hob, electric oven and fridge. There is one bedroom with king-sized bed and an additional sofa bed in the living area. Ground floor lobby and shower room. Quiet village location in the National Forest within a mile of the M42 junction providing easy access to Birmingham and the East Midlands.

Swallow Cottage, beautiful, spacious and relaxing.

Swallow cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout with attention to detail. A feeling of luxury and tranquility. The cottage enjoys underfloor heating and fabulous rural views to be enjoyed in the warmer months from the decking outside the kitchen. Patio doors open right up to allow the outside in. Tilly Lodge

Unwind in luxury in this brand-new converted lodge. With a hot tub and seating area overlooking some fantastic views alongside a gorgeous modern interior. Built by my wonderful talented husband Tilly Lodge is a self contained luxury getaway surrounded by so many local attractions some being just a stones throw away. Tilly Lodge is set in a beautiful village with a lovely pub, fabulous garden and great food just a 4 minute walk away.

The Loft at Peake’s Retreats, + private hot tub

‘The Loft’ at Peake’s Retreats is a self-contained, self catering accomodation with private hot tub. An annex to the main farmhouse the loft is only accessed by you and not shared with the farmhouse or other guests. A private entrance takes you into the kitchen with a cloakroom area. Upstairs is your large bedroom with super kingsize bed, and smart tv Your bathroom is accessed from the small landing at the top of the stairs. With shower over bath and complimentary Neals Yard toiletries.

Granville House West Wing

The apartment is on 3 floors within a grade II listed building. The kitchen is spacious with a log burner and all the nice appliances such as an American style fridge freezer, wine cooler, range cooker, coffee machine and a dishwasher. The glass-blown staircase leads up to the the snug and dressing room, which is cosy, off this is the bathroom with a large walk in shower and an infa-red sauna. The staircase in the snug leads up to the bedroom which is under a beautiful array of beams.

Poppy’s Place

PRIVATE ENTRANCE With outside seating area. Adorable self contained suite. One double bedroom with single beds also providing two comfy chairs and Smart TV. Private en-suite bathroom and separate compact area (kitchenette), for preparing light breakfast with Toaster, microwave,kettle, fridge, freezer and air fryer. Tea and coffee, cereal bread butter provided. Free parking & Wi-Fi. CO-OP Supermarket five minutes walk. Cosy, dog friendly pub/restaurant alongside Coop.

The Coach House

The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting,which benefits from a local convenience store. It is situated close to the M42 with good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous walks. There are many attractions close eg Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and National Arboretum We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, eggs and preserves

Centre of the National Forest

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. Pets, you must inform us of breed prior to booking.
