Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Wood Lodge is a self-catering home with all the comforts of modern day living, a large enclosed garden, private entrance and loads of parking. The market town of Athy is just 5 mins away, Kildare Luxury Shopping Village 20 mins and Dublin or Kilkenny 50 mins. This 3 bedroom house, set in the C18th stable yard of the historic Burtown House, has its own private courtyard garden is surrounded by 10 acres of beautiful gardens and sits close to The Green Barn Restaurant and Shop, and our walled organic kitchen garden. It has been decorated to the highest of standards by James an interior photographer and Joanna an interior designer. Built in 1710, and never been sold, and so for that reason it holds a particular charm.
