The apartment features one bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed and two twin beds, one bathroom with laundry facilities, a nicely equipped kitchen, a dining and a living room.

The Quartz Cottage is the front unit of a duplex, offering clear views of the Montana Tech campus and Highlands mountains. The Cottage has endured since the early 1900s, so don't be dismayed by the rustic exterior - the inside is fully updated to ensure a comfortable stay! NOTE: The stairs to the loft bedroom are VERY STEEP and may present a significant challenge for some guests!

This unique slice of history has a style all its own. The historical Socialist Hall Building just finished one of the most expensive renovations in Butte and opened in July of 2024. The building built in 1916 and listed on the National Historical Register shows the toughness of Butte with the outside architectural décor and the inside brings modern design to the rustic history of the outside.
