Dalemore is a very special place overlooking the cobbled ford in the hidden Peak District village of Butterton. It is set in its own grounds and is within walking distance of the award-winning Black Lion Inn. Accommodating up to 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, wood burner for cosy nights in and dining opening onto the brook-side terrace, it provides the perfect Peak Park getaway. Situated 1000 Ft above sea level come and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and sheep. Overlooking the famous Thor’s Cave, there is an abundance of beautiful walks from the property. Local pubs in Butterton, Hulme End and Warslow. Lovely local towns nearby include Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell and Leek. Grindon is the perfect get away for those craving peace and tranquility.

Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.
