It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

"The Old Shippon" at Stoop Farm is a modern barn conversion sleeping at least 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton.

The top floor is exclusively yours. There is shared access through my front door and the first set of stairs. 2 double bedrooms. An extra travel cot and z bed are available if you bring your own bedding. Spacious living room and bathroom. For basic self catering ( no sink) there’s a TV, kettle, microwave-combi oven, toaster, double electric hot plate and mini fridge. All the necessary crockery. If you use all the crockery before checkout I will put it through the dishwasher downstairs.

Trickle Brook Cabin is a unique log cabin, a rustic converted shed, accessed via a bridge over a stream and nestled in a tranquil spot in the picturesque village of Wincle in the beautiful Peak District, tiny cabin with external measurements of 4 metres x 5 metres, cozy and very romantic. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

The apartments comfortably sleeps up to 3 and has a period bathroom with a shower. 6ft superking leather bed, kitchen, large lounge, dining area, Wifi, TV and off road parking directly outside the front door. If the second bedroom is required, please book for 3 guests as this covers the additional cleaning costs.

Street parking (free) (no permits) (no yellow lines ) Well behaved dogs (max 2 ) welcome to (pet fee applies ) We have a brand new larger flat upstairs called Cannons Loft it’s in the same building, sleeps up to 5 people, perfect if 2 families want to holiday together.

Converted 1870s chapel. Renovated in August 2021. Well placed for trips into the Peak District or to Buxton; walking, climbing, and biking all close to hand . Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall. Quiet guests appreciated.
