Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Our large studio apartment (40sqM) sits on 6 quiet acres with Pound creek on one boundary. The unit is only 3 years old and has a modern large ensuite. We are a NSW Registered Accommodation REG No STR-188. You will have access to free Hi speed internet via WiFi. The room has a microwave oven, fridge, toaster and Weber BBQ. The Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail is only 2 kilometers away. Pound Creek Gallery is ideal for the couple who want a quiet and restful retreat close to local attractions.

Turn of the century "Farm Worker's Cottage" that became part of Tumbarumba as this picturesque little mountain town has grown over the last 100 years. Originally part of the Snowy's farming land holdings, it's now just a short distance from beautiful parklands, Rail Trail, delightful cafes, wineries, trout fishing, & historical walking tracks such as the Hume & Hovell National Trail. With ski fields within easy access, there is something to satisfy every adventure & taste throughout the year.

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years.
