Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. This unique tree-top cottage is located 110 steps into the clouds at the end of the road in the quiet village of Tuwanek. Enjoy complete privacy and solitude, and soak in the hot-tub perched at the top of the property. The cottage has one-bedroom and a sleeping loft, with comfortable bedding and sheets. We offer two unique spaces for your stay: a small forest cottage (sleeps 2) and newly renovated suite (sleeps 2-4), both nestled in our lush back garden, along with a small 4-person hot tub for relaxing in after a day of taking in all that the North Shore has to offer! We are minutes away from a handful of spectacular private beaches, and a short 15 - 20 minute walk to the village of Deep Cove.

We pick you up by boat and transport you to the property that houses the hideaway with indoor and outdoor spaces directly on the ocean. Enjoy the ocean and view wildlife from your private hot tub, a deck chair on the dock, or a comfortable spot in the office / reading room. If you are looking for more excitement and/or activity we have a kayak and paddle board for your use. Also, the property backs onto a vast area of Crown land with walking and hiking opportunities.
