Climb 40 feet up onto the Observation Tower, where a telescope waits for you, ready to scan the night sky, and reveal the panorama of the heavens -- overlooking 500 acres of natural splendor right next door. Step into the hot, bubbling jets of the jacuzzi, or warm caress of the rain shower, and restore your spirits by soothing your muscles, melting away any residual tensions of the day. Get a restful sleep in one of our soft beds. In the morning, pad around on in-floor radiant heated floors (so cozy during winter-time.) Or enjoy your morning coffee on one of four outside decks. A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

The Loft is in a historic brick building that has a great walk score to restaurants, entertainment, groceries and liquor store. Enjoy a stroll in the historical part downtown or unwind in the clean loft with a nice bottle of wine. We serve a lot of guests that have weddings in town along with college parents and professional(s). Welcome.

Miss Amanda's House

Enjoy your stay in this home-away-from. Built in 1870, this two bedroom, two bath has plenty of charm, while still offering many modern amenities. A fully furnished kitchen allows you to cook up fun dishes and the large living room is a cozy place to gather. Historic, downtown Cannon Falls and the Cannon Valley bike trail are just a couple blocks away. Nestled on a dead end street, Miss Amanda's home is in a quiet area while still close (less than 3 min) to Hwy 52 and Hwy 19.

The house is cool, well shaded with big trees and flooded with mottled light. A big magical backyard with two huge pines makes it feel like the North Woods. It is peaceful & serene with a big private yard and organic miro garden. In spite of some older pics there is new central air not window units. This is a very clean artists house not a hotel. This is an old but beautiful house, full of love. Please be loving and respectful. Thank you!
