A Loft amongst the Gum Trees

Please note owners are onsite adjacent to guest accomadation. Located only a short 7 min drive west of Apollo Bay along the iconic Great Ocean Road and nestled amongst the gum trees. It is a rare day when you won’t spot a koala on the property. The Loft is spacious and adjacent to our family home. It is located above our shed, with private access and courtyard at the rear. The property is full of wildlife along with our animals... sheep, chickens and our dogs Honey and Cleo and cat Spot!

Welcome to our cosy shed, couples will enjoy their stay and all that this exceptional area has to offer. Amazing beaches, wildlife, great eateries and all the sights and wonders of the Great Ocean Road just there for your pleasure. The local Koala community is on your doorstep and hand feeding the King parrots is a perfect way to start your day. The beach is a gentle 5 minute stroll away, sunrise is breathtaking from here, or lie in and let the rolling hills greet you in the morning.

Escape to Sunnyside

Sunnyside is located just off the Great Ocean Road approximately 15 minutes from Apollo Bay. A fully private and self-contained loft studio offers panoramic views of the Southern Ocean and sits in amongst the Otway rainforest treetops. The property has over 10 acres to explore; an olive grove, an orchard, a mature oak forest and stunning walkways combining both pasture and native surroundings. You may even be lucky enough to meet our resident Koala! A one-of-a-kind experience awaits.

Big Bear's Small House - a true forest escape

A beautiful, small off grid house with all the modern comforts. Truly breathtaking views of the ocean and rainforest set over a deep gorge. Birds, wildlife, & ancient trees will greet you through the infinity window that looks beyond the comfort of your own luxurious queen bed, complete kitchen, cozy lounge with cute fireplace, and a spacious bathroom. Shower or soak in the outdoor bath on the big deck, gaze the Milky Way at night, sit by the fire, it's all here for you to rest.

Overlooking the Otway National Park, this stylish comfort laden getaway is perfect for 2 people wanting to escape and relax amongst nature. There is plenty to do and see exploring the many attractions the Great Ocean Road has to offer.... Or don't go anywhere, cosy up by the wood fire, stargaze on the deck at night and breath in the fresh air.

Barham Hill Eco Retreat

If you’re looking for a private and peaceful getaway, nestled among the rolling hills, whilst being just 3.5km from the township of Apollo Bay, welcome to Barham Hill Retreat. Guests can explore the 40 acre conservation property walking along well-established tracks which winds through the property viewing the magnificent manna gums and stringybarks of the Otway foothills. You will have an opportunity to see an abundance of wildlife including koalas, wallabies and many birds.

Nestled between tall gums and framed by dairy farms this converted Church is a darling of the Otway Hinterland. Just moments from the Otway Food Trail, wineries, mountain bike trails, kayaking, fishing and bushwalking tracks, the Little Church is a convenient and central base to access the joys of the region - and there is plenty to do and see!
