Soho on Strand is a wonderful location in Cape Town, positioned in the heart of the World Cup festival atmosphere alongside the newly rejuvenated Cape Quarter and in walking distance of the stadium, V&A Waterfront, CBD and Convention Centre. This area has had tremendous cosmetic investment by the organising committee of the world cup, as it is positioned on walking route to the stadium that is popular for sporting fixtures and concerts. Whether you are wanting to indulge in Cape Town sight-seeing, sample the best of Cape Town cuisine, relax in a fashionable coffee shop, cocktail bar or browse the historical cobble stoned district, you will not need to stroll far from your front door. We are 30 mins drive from the Cape Winelands, 20 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from Camps Bay beach, 5 minutes from the Table Mountain cableway, and the CBD, V&A Waterfront, Convention Centre is in walking distance. Only one block away, The Cape Quarter newly restored heritage site, is home to some of the city's best restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, museums and piazza entertainment - set amongst the quaint cobbled stoned tree lined avenues of the historical Cape Malay area. Camps Bay Beach is a 10 min drive and the cable car to the top of Table Mountain is also a 10 min drive. Guests access the entire apartment, private balcony, shared swimming pool and barbecue area, reception area and resident's parking garage accessed directly from the lift. I do not live on the premises. In most cases I make use of the Airbnb self check-in facility because I prepare for guests in the morning and live too far away to be able to return to the city for late check in times. I am however constantly available on message and phone for enquiries and conversation. De Waterkant is a hip neighbourhood full of restaurants, cafes, and museums. Venture out to Bo Kaap nearby and explore its cobblestone streets, green spaces, and rooftop lounges. Both areas are within walking distance of the city centre.

If it's a big deal, we may have to charge you for it. Please leave the guest bedrooms undisturbed. This is a non-smoking house, however smoking is permitted in the outside areas. Please use an ashtray! De waterkant is the most trandy area of Cape town. Top notch restaurants, bars and nightclubs are within safe walking distance as well as the vibrant Cape Quarter and the V&A Waterfront shopping mall. The MyCiTi bus service and taxi stands are all within few meters Guest can access the whole house and terrace. I give my guest space but I am available when needed Transport around Cape town with a professional tourist guide can be organized The house is in De Waterkant, also known as The Village, which is the only area in town where essential things can be done on foot. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and beautiful shops and a supermarket are nearby. The next Citi bus stop is just a few meters away. But we actually recommend Uber to get around. Their services are outstanding in Cape Town. Wake up to birds singing in the Hibiscus tree outside this peaceful, two-story coastal apartment. Lounge on the terrace with views of landscaped gardens, the ocean, and surrounding mountains. Be sure to enjoy the refreshing pool after a long day. We are not able to accommodate children The first level (ground floor level of the villa)consists of the cosy decorated lounge with flat screen TV, a dining area and the fully equipped little kitchen which can be separated from the lounge by an artfully painted sliding door. A small terrace invites you to sit outside for breakfast or sundowners. From the lounge a staircase leads downstairs to the basement with it's bedroom, a passage to the bathroom(shower only)and the dressing room. The King size bed can be separated and configured into single beds. Our guests are invited to sit in the beautifully landscaped garden on their own terrace with sun loungers and side table or enjoy the big swimming pool . From here stunning views over the whole bay and the surrounding mountains as well as spectacular sunsets will delight your senses. We respect the privacy of our guests yet we enjoy to extend hospitality and the feeling of home from home .We are available under the same roof to advise,support,recommend and help our guests to make their stay a memorable one. Camps Bay offers restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, and different beaches. It has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town, due to privately organised street patrols and security companies. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. MyCity bus stop is circa 400m away on Geneva Drive with one route clockwise and another anticlockwise to transport visitors either to town or downhill to the Promenade . Uber taxis or any of the local companies are another option From our house it's a 15 min walk downhill into Camps Bay Security : Street parking only - Camps Bay has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town The property is fully in and outdoor secured

The apartment is set high up on Little Lionshead with panoramic views of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Folding doors lead onto an expansive pool deck with sun loungers and a gas barbecue all for the exclusive use of the apartment guests. There is a full kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, an en suite bathroom, lounge area with a large flat panel TV and an open-plan dining area. The apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and public holidays. We have solar and battery power so are not affected by power outages. Mountain Walks, Village atmosphere with a city 10 minutes away. Beach 2km away. The suite is located on the lower level of the property and is totally private. There is parking on the property. Pool, garden, Mountain We are available to transport you around the Cape, take you on wine tours at an additional fee. MacD, our housekeeper is on hand 24 hours to assist where necessary The house is safe and secure with guarded entrance. Wake up to birdsong and enjoy the surrounding majestic mountains. Mount Rhodes is a security estate nestled in the foot of Little Lions Head. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

I offer my full 2 bedroom aparmtent, and have full access to the apartments amenities. As a guest you will have full access to the entire apartment and access to a parking bay. Make yourself at home and enjoy my home. As I have mentioned I am moving overseas but have decide to keep my home on Airbnb, however I will still stay in contact with you regarding booking, questions and queries. I will happily suggest places to visit, eat at and activitiaes to do. I have arranged that someone will meet you to let you in and if you need any personal help on your visit The apartment is on the vibrant busy and ever-changing Greenmarket Square. Within a few blocks is a food lover's market for groceries, as well as infamous Long Street which is skirted with bars, coffee shops, and nightlife. One block away is the city sightseeing stop and office. Long Street and Adderley Street has multiple MyCiti Bus stops, 4 blocks away is the Cape Town Train station for buses and trains. Ther are cab services around where I can give you a number for or Uber is really convenient way to get around.
