This bedroom has a queen sized bed with an en suite bath, shower, basin and toilet. It opens onto a verandah which is shared with the other 2 Doorways rooms and guest lounge/dining room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the guest bedroom. The room looks out over the vineyard and gets wonderful morning sunshine. In addition there is a common area / guest lounge / dining room for the exclusive use of Doorways guests. Free Wifi available in the room.

Cypress Cottage Guest House - 家庭房

Welcome to Cypress Cottage Guesthouse in the heart of Swellendam. The Family Self Catering Unit accommodates 4 people. It comprises of two separate inter-leading rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The latter room has a small dining and fully equipped kitchenette. There is a wood fire Dover stove and a stove top for cooking. Please note: this unit does not include breakfast. We have a Labrador that is very friendly and playful and 2 cats.

Swallows Rest Guesthouse

Swallows Rest Guest House situated in a picturesque village on the foothills of the beautiful Olifants River Mountains in the Western Cape, approximately 150 km’s from Cape Town. It is a recently renovated house with wonderful views of the mountains, particularly at full moon. In the meadow there is a fire pit / braai where guests can relax in the evenings. The Classic Family Rooms are spacious, stylish and exceptionally comfortable. The rooms and en suite bathrooms have all been renovated (completed September 2019). We have two Family Rooms, Room 1 (ground floor) can accommodate an extra single bed and Room 17 (first floor) has a sofa bed. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate children younger than 6 years of age.
