A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

And in the evenings you can relax and watch the sunset over Carningli Mountain, and enjoy the exceptional dark skies which on a clear night are perfect for star gazing.

Hickin’s Hut offers our guests a secluded and tranquil location, set within a 43 acre smallholding located only 3 miles from Cardigan. Sited within its own meadow, on the edge of a small wood adjacent to a lake where you will see much wildlife. The hut has a double bed and an en suite shower room/toilet with a power shower. It also enjoys glorious views of the surrounding Welsh countryside and Preseli Hills from the south facing decking with a private tub and firepit. Pets also welcome.

Overlooking open fields where our horses graze, the hut is surrounded by nature and completely secluded—ideal for a quiet escape or romantic getaway. (Please note the walk is approximately 50meters and uphill.)
