Relax and enjoy this peaceful slice of paradise. Less than 1 hr from Detroit and 15 min from Pine Knob - enjoy spectacular sunsets and create summer memories without the "up north" traffic. Enjoy a sunset kayak ride and get up close and personal w/ native birds and fish. Equipped with WIFI, 2 smart TV's with netflix, hulu and Amazon prime as well as washer and dryer. Master BR has king bed, 2 guests rooms with full size and 1 guest room w twin trundle bed. BOAT NOT INCLUDED IN RENTAL.

Welcome to Mapleshade Cottage, a renovated vintage cottage in Lexington Heights. Just 3.5 miles from downtown Lexington and about 5 min walk to Lake Huron, (note: Airbnb est. of 1 min walk is inaccurate). Mapleshade has 4 separate bedrooms, one full bathroom, and one quarter bathroom with W/D. The kitchen and bathrooms have been completely renovated and updated. The home is kid-friendly with a set of eco-conscious bamboo dining/flatware, high chair, pack ‘n play, and fully fenced back yard.

Our property is double wide with panoramic Lake View. Access to the beach via a new public stair case 7 cottages down. No direct access from our property. We do not have neighbours either side. We are located in a friendly quaint community. A good mix of seasonal cottages and full time residence. The panoramic view is seen from two of the 3 bedrooms. Imagine waking up and from the comfort of your bed enjoying the sights and sounds of the endless lake horizon. Please be our guest!
