Drink pure artesian spring water while listening to abundant birds and sitting on your veranda. Go for a bush walk in the National Park across the river, go biking, play golf - or visit the vineyards and restaurants for a vibrant time. This is an adventure escape that is close to the vibrant Wairarapa 'good life'!

Kererū Rest 在大自然中放松身心

Kererū Rest is in a semi rural position, enjoy relaxing on the deck or in the private outside beautiful bath. There is a bar fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. Breakfast selection provided eg: muesli, bread, butter, spreads, orange juice,milk, teas and fresh plunger coffee. This may work for travellers who don't plan on spending vacation time cooking although a gas barbeque is available (see photo) Greytown is five minutes away providing boutique shopping and a variety of dining.

A stylish, french country vibes studio, with a limesand meandering path from the carpad, through the garden is an oasis. Separate to the host's house, the studio is an ideal getaway for peace and tranquillity. Located near Carterton town centre and railway station.

The Loft

The Loft is situated in Carterton, in the beautiful Wairarapa. The Loft is a newly refurbished, modern, spacious first floor apartment - separate from the main house, with all day sun. Located above the garage, an easy walk up two flights of stairs brings you to your own private space. The space includes a separate bedroom with queen bed and ensuite and a lounge/dining area with kitchenette. A small balcony off the lounge allows guests to sit and enjoy a break with a view to the Tararuas.

Heat pump and log burner in downstairs living room and heatpump in upstairs bedroom to keep you cosy in winter and cool in summer. The grounds are spacious and private. Prior approval for pets is required ($20 per stay)

There is one queen, one double, and two single beds, all with quality linen IMPORTANT: The double room is accessed through the single bedroom. Please note before booking.

It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.
