The River's Edge Retreat is near Salish Lodge, Snoqualmie Falls, and TreeHouse Point, local wineries like Grassie Wine Estates and Sigillo Cellars, and the stunning hiking trails sprinkled throughout North Bend and the Snoqualmie Valley. Spend the day beach combing, sightseeing, hiking or biking and at the end of the day, follow a step stone path to your private suite. Relax on the deck, watch eagles soar ocean side then step inside to a cozy living space for an evening of cards, Scrabble, maybe some TV or even a soak in the oversized soaker tub. Your Queen-sized bed awaits that includes luxurious European Down bedding. Morning time, enjoy a coffee or tea and your starter breakfast. Another day on the Sunshine Coast...! This cozy, 3-room view suite near the ocean is nestled in a private natural setting where "feeling at home" will come easy - designed for comfort and quiet relaxation. Suite Serenity is a 2-minute walk to the seashore. The suite is attached to the main residence but is totally private with its own entrance and cedar deck w/Cap Cod loungers. Amenities include a Keurig coffee/tea maker w/pods, fridge (stocked w/milk & cream, juice, yogurt) and freezer, microwave, filtered hot/cold water dispenser, stocked wine bar (honour system), fresh muffins/fruit delivered each morning (a "Continental-style breakfast). Picnic lunch available upon prior request. Luxurious down bedding; hypoallergenic options. Deluxe towels in the bathroom that features a Rain Forest shower. Sumptuous lounging robes and slippers. Electric fireplace in sitting lounge. Wide-screen TV. Wi-Fi. Board games. Umbrellas. Access to three well-appointed rooms, including a private cedar deck, a designated parking area, and a pathway to the ocean. We look forward to hosting you! It's important at this time to reassure our present and future guests that our utmost priority is to continue to offer accommodation that is spotless and 100% compliant/observant of necessary precautions in order to mitigate any and all risks. Suite Serenity is in close proximity to the ocean, mountains, and the town of Gibsons with an abundance of walking trails and biking paths nearby. As Suite Serenity is not on a bus route, we recommend bringing or renting a car. If renting a car, we're happy to pick you up at the Langdale ferry terminal and to take you to the rental car facility. Guests have their own parking area just a few steps away from the suite entrance. If the booking is a "special occasion" getaway (i.e. anniversary, birthday), please let us know.

Dragonfly Beach House in North Admiral

The ever-changing view of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound from our huge living room windows will provide a beautiful backdrop for your Seattle beach vacation. Cozy up in the living room to catch up with the world on our fast wifi network, stream programs on the smart TV or tune into cable, or sip a glass of wine with your traveling companions. The large dining room table provides a place to share gourmet meals whipped up in the spacious, bright kitchen or on the gas grill. This is a two-bedroom house. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and door that opens onto the patio and hot tub area. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed and serene reading area. The house's one bathroom has a large claw-foot soaking tub with shower. Conveniences: fast WIFI, smart TV with cable and streaming capabilities, washer & dryer, coffee & tea, all bedding, towels, and robes for the hot tub provided. We live nearby and are always available by text, phone, or e-mail, but otherwise respect the privacy of our guests. It is a short walk to Alki Beach, which is one block away, or the local shops and restaurants. Venture slightly further afield to explore downtown or go even further for some wonderful outdoor adventures. Parking: Admittedly difficult. Our garage was built along with the house in 1910 and is very small. On-street parking is not available on our street. If your car can't squeeze into the garage, it might be necessary to park up to a block away. Alternatives: Uber cars and taxis are readily available all over Seattle. Guests can catch a shuttle bus on Alki Ave that will take them directly to the pier where the water taxi departs for downtown Seattle. The regular Metro bus stop is also just about a block from the house.
