Bungalow in the Gardens

Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Welcome to our Clackamas Riverfront Guest House—a peaceful riverside retreat blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Relax in your private hot tub and sauna, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy stunning river views. Fish, kayak, or raft right from the backyard. Bedrooms include white noise machines and earplugs to help with normal traffic during commute hours on our scenic road. The guesthouse is attached but its own private unit with its own separate entrance and parking. Enjoy your stay!!

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. A bolthole created from passion by Kaemingk Collection, The Green Door PDX was designed to provide a unique respite from the energy of Portland while being conveniently located only minutes from downtown and popular shopping/eating districts. We have taken queues from Europe and built a traditional field cottage tucked into the landscape at the front of the property and surrounded it with mature greenery for an inviting welcome and ultimate privacy for our guests.
