Idéalement située au centre du Périgord et de tous les sites qui en font la richesse, notre maison, Chez Colette et Mimi, est une dépendance de l’un des plus beaux domaines du Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. Comme à l’aube du 18ème siècle, ici tout respire la paix, l'harmonie et la beauté. C’est le lieu parfait pour se ressourcer et rayonner à la découverte de la superbe région de Dordogne. Chez Colette et Mimi est l’ancienne grange, bâtie en 1702, que nous avons convertie en maison luxueuse.

Vous pourrez aller vous baigner à pieds, faire du canoë, une randonnée au bord du Céou ou de la Dordogne ! Ou encore visiter les châteaux de Castelnaud, Beynac ou Milandes; ou les grottes Lascaux, Maxange; Jardins Marqueyssac, Eyrignac… Vous pourrez admirer les montgolfières, canoës et gabares du balcon. Enjoy an exceptional 180° view of the Dordogne while swimming in our infinity pool (open May to October only) or hot tub (available all year). Our property sits on 4 acres of tranquil countryside at the top of the verdant Dordogne valleys. Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

Cicadas and birds sing to the setting sun, and there's not a human soul for miles. Fields and vineyards lead to the winding streets of medieval Issigeac, a boulangerie, a café and the perfect afternoon.

A Carlux, petit village, vous trouverez des commerces (épicerie-boucherie et boulangerie) et des activités de loisirs à proximité immédiate (Canoës, piste cyclable, randonnées et baignade en bord de Dordogne à trois minutes). De grands centre commerciaux sont à 10 minutes. Piscine partagée avec un autre gîte de 4-5 personnes.
