Waterfront Cottage on Wild Atlantic Way

Waterfront Cottage is located on The Wild Atlantic Way. Stay at this recently refurbished cosy cottage in picturesque Newport, nestled on the shores of Clewbay. The cottage is located at the heart of The Great Western Greenway and The Wild Atlantic Way! Ballycroy National Park is also close by! Waterfront Cottage overlooks the Black Oak River and enjoys wonderful views of the area. This is the perfect base for hillwalking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, stargazing, exploring or relaxing!

The Red Fox Cottage

This is a lovely old style cottage attached to an Authentic local Irish Pub. It is self contained with front and rear entrances and parking. There are two open fireplaces. A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

10/15 minutes walk from Westport train station and right in the heart of Westport with on street parking you may not need your car for your stay as all amenities are just a few minutes walk. Our house has just been totally renovated and finished in January 2017. Our place is close to art and culture, restaurants and dining, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Surrounded by excellent coastal and hill walking terrain, it is also a 10 minute drive from the Wild Atlantic Way, the town of Westport and the Great Western Greenway. McHale road is a very friendly community in a cul de sac and is a 15 minute walk to the town centre with shops, pubs and entertainment. It is also a 10 minutes walk from the train station.
