With own driveway (1 car) and shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all located within a short walk, this is a great base from which to explore the Peaks.

Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. Its central location in the village means it's close to all attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Equipped to accommodate all your needs the property's also on a dead-end so there's no passing traffic.

Beautiful "Trickett Gate House" is a 3 bed cottage located in the village of Castleton in the heart of the Peak District. Tastefully decorated and suitable for 6 people. This is for the entire cottage with parking for 2 vehicles only. Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
