Tongue Cottage is a delightful one bedroomed property in Watermillock. An area of outstanding natural beauty within the Lake District National Park, only a mile from Ullswater. It provides a unique location for walking, honeymoons, or romantic getaways and is perfect for that special anniversary, birthday or simply for those just wanting to relax. Located next to the owners’ home, but still maintaining solitude and privacy, the cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a haven for wildlife.

Cheerful cottage convenient to the Lake District

Cobbler’s Cottage is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break whilst exploring the Lake District and all that Cumbria has to offer. This modern, comfortable and well equipped one bedroom cottage has free parking and is located close to the M6. It is in an ideal location with some of the Lake’s most iconic places such as Ullswater, Helvellyn and Blencathra only a short drive away. Greystoke has a shop/post office, outdoor pool and the excellent Boot and Shoe pub is around the corner.

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

A spacious and beautifully converted cottage set within the grand surroundings of an old folly dating back to the 1700s. It is a peaceful, rural setting in striking distance of the Lake District, the Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is less than 1 mile from the delightful village of Greystoke and about a 10 min drive from the M6/A66/A6. The cottage is great for families, couples, solo or business travellers. Pets are very welcome.

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. The Hayloft (on the doorstep of The Lake District)

Barn conversion located in the peaceful village of Newton Reigny, a 9 minute drive from the Lake District National Park border (lake Ullswater just 15 minutes away). The village has a pub & a small shop. A 5 minute drive from the historic market town of Penrith which has a selection of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants & amenities. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).

The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick! Dogs are more than welcome! We live next door so if you have any questions or problems we can quickly help you!
