This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Our home is nestled on 18 acres of idyllic countryside, which not only boasts access to a private lake with runner boards you can fish from but its green fields roll down to the banks of the Shannon River Navigation. By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

Cavan has 365 lakes so this area is great for fishing. We are only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Dublin and only a 10 minute drive from the boarder with Northern Ireland. So we cater for every type of stay.

The Nest is a spacious one bedroom apartment nestled in the Cavan countryside. Lovely quiet location, just off the N3 between Belturbet & Teemore, not far from The Slieve Russell, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan Crystal and Farnham Estate. Nearby attractions a short drive away include The Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh Boardwalk, Killykeen Forest Park, Erica’s Fairy Forest, Cavan Adventure Centre, Florence Court House, Drumlane Abbey, Castle Saunderson, Lough Oughter and fishing spots to name but a few.

If your looking for a quiet getaway or you want to come as a family or group of friends you could book the Cottage & Studio. The Cottage sleeps 5 people. It can be booked separately on airbnb. Situated in Potahee less than 5 minutes from Ballinagh town and 12 minutes from Cavan. A perfect retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life

The Studio is in a quiet countryside location a short walk from Killeshandra - a small village surrounded by lakes - popular for fishing, walking, cycling, golfing and many outdoor activities. It is a good area for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids), with a playground nearby. This would be a great base for touring around the country, just 1.5 hours drive from Dublin and 1.5 hours from Belfast. Fishing boats and guide available for hire.

The self-contained accommodation is in very quiet place, based on our property which boasts magnificent elevated views of 2 Lakes and mountain. Our house is on the same property. So, if you need anything, we are not far. At 7km from Ballinamore & 18km from Carrick-on-Shannon. *speak french too. *minimum length of stay: two nights
