SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Winter brings the snow on the beautiful hiking mountains. Guest farm campsite at main river. No Wifi. No towels.

Vineyard Cottage at Bosman Wines

Secluded cottage surrounded by vineyards and mountains with romantic, farm-style décor, open-plan kitchen, vineyard-covered front and back porch overlooking the beautiful Wellington wine valley. Fresh white linen bedding, private bathroom and a room with a view of the vineyards and the nursery vines. Small splash pool (cold water) in the backyard, private garage for parking, wine cellar on the farm, we include a complimentary wine tasting. Home to world renowned mountain bike trails.

The Moongazing Cabin @ 9 Mount Bain

The Moongazing Cabin is a tranquil timber mountain cabin located on the 660ha Mount Bain Private Nature Reserve in the Bain's Kloof Valley overlooking the Waaihoek and Witzenberg Mountain Ranges. The area provides excellent choices for hiking, swimming, kloofing, birding, driving, wine tasting, seeing snow in winter or just relaxing. The cottage is equipped with gas stove, fridge and hot water and has a solar panel installation for charging electronic devices.

Vineyard House

30km outside Worcester (towards Villiersdorp) The perfect romantic getaway in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Vineyard House is surrounded by a 360° view of vineyards and mountains. We offer a modern, private stay just outside Worcester, approximately 1½ hours drive from Cape Town. Vineyard House offer a 2 bedroom house (sleeps 4), a bathroom, fully furnished kitchen, livingroom with a fire place and a stoep looking onto the vineyards.

Hill Cottage

Nestled against the Witzenberg mountains just 9km outside the charming town of Tulbagh, is a cozy farm cottage called Hill Cottage. The farm offers a peaceful retreat where you can swim in the dam, hike amongst the proteas and enjoy the nature of the Cape. Only 90mins from Cape Town, it makes for the perfect romantic getaway to enjoy the natural beauty of one of the top rated small towns in South Africa!

Uitsig High Mountain Stone Cottage

Uitsig Stone Cottage is set within huge weathered grey rocks, facing easttowards the high peaks of the southern Cederberg. It has spectacular views in every direction - to the south is the monumental Middelberg Peak, and to the north in the distance is the pinnacle of Sneeuberg. The interior is clad in wood and furnished with beautiful rustic antiques, and has a rock-clad bathroom with breathtaking views.

RiverStone Cottage lies at the foot of the majestic Simonsberg mountain with panoramic views in all directions. Whether you are relaxing under vast oaks or at the plunge pool and watching the sunset turn the mountains pink or are an early bird and watching the sun rise behind cheeky, pointed Botmanskop, there are moments aplenty to ooh and aah at the majesty that surrounds this very special place.

Sundowner Cottage

Sundowner Cottage has been sited to give the best sunset view on the farm. The eland and springbok walking past complete the scene as you sit in a wood-fired hot tub, with the mountains behind you. About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery as well as these unique A-frame wooden cottages

Sunset Dome

We are proud to present the Geodome experience, nestled up against the Witzenberg mountain range about 9km from the historic town of Tulbagh. We have created this unique rental situated in our favourite part of a 222 hectare farm. Swimming, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and enjoying nature are some of the favourite activities our guests enjoy.
