The accommodation is situated in a picturesque Welsh rural setting, the ambiance is enhanced by the soothing chirping of birds, fresh air, occasional dog barking. Ideal for visiting Brecon Beacons.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

Our cottage is a lounge/Kitchen that is light & airy with French doors leading to the patio, I supply milk, Tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, cake, biscuits, We have a washing machine & Tumble dryer in the kitchen, These are NOT for use of one Night Stays, Only for guests staying 4 days or longer. Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. Bathroom bath & overhead shower, I supply Towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner & toilet rolls,

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. Cwm Farm Cwtch Farm Cottage Brecon Beacons

Cwm Farm Cwtch, is a homely cottage set on a farm in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil. You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

We welcome cyclists and have secure lock up for bikes, use of track pump, work stand ,hose etc. No children under 12.

James' Place @ Brynawel - The Rafters

Flexible accommodation to suit your needs. At James' Place we can offer you either a double room or 2 fully equipped studios with the added benefit of your own kitchen. Expect quality affordable accommodation that suits you. Brynawel is a beautiful Victorian house next to Thomastown Park and has stunning views over the Merthyr valley. Brynawel is a very short walk to Merthyr Tydfil town centre, the train and bus station, but far enough away for you to have a peaceful retreat.

Great location within the Brecon Beacons National Park, for walking and cycling. Hill, river and canal walks straight from the door. Two pubs in the village, the Red Lion is approximately 200 ms, The Coach and Horses is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk. Post office, shop, cafe and petrol station within the village. Boat hire from Brecon or Llangatock. Pet friendly for up to two pets Wood burner with fuel provided.

Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn was extended and refurbished in the summer of 2020. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal.

Located between the cycle path, canal pathway and the legendary tumbles mountain this is an ideal base for anybody looking to get outside and explore. Abergavenny Town centre is a 40 minute walk along the cycle path, 15-20 cycle and 5 minutes in a car.
