Black Squirrel Barn, luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath barn

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy, self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed , travel cot & hi chair if required. For pets, 2 maximum, we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.

Lovely garden cabin, parking on driveway

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. The greenhouse is a lovely garden cabin which can sleep up to 5 people. The bedroom has a single and double bed, there is also a double sofa bed in the living room. There is free parking on the road outside the main house. The greenhouse is a 8 minute drive to the airport so would be great for a cheap and cheerful quick stay. This is a cosy home and will have everything you need for your stay.

The barn is approximately 215 years old and situated in an English cottage garden on the doorstep of Woburn Abbey with lots of gorgeous walks in the beautiful countryside. The Abbey entrance gate is 0.4 miles away, you can walk through the deer park & extensive grounds. A public footpath takes you to the Elephant house & beyond. We are on the route of the famous Greensand Ridge & boast a lovely local pub the "Rose & Crown", serving good British food.

Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.

Riverside Retreat

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.
