Amazing rural retreat, 2 miles to Jurassic Coast

Delightful open plan, light-filled flat with large Velux windows. Picturesque views to the south to Cannington Viaduct, and behind onto a sloped wooded area frequented by deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits. Numerous countryside/costal walks on the doorstep. On the Jurassic Coast, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Devon / Dorset border. 2 miles from Lyme Regis beach and ½ a mile from a pub and shop in Uplyme. 1 mile to River Cottage HQ Outdoor sitting area, space to store bikes, etc.

The Pod at Springwater is a unique, handcrafted property set up amongst the trees. It has two bedrooms: one double, with a large window and a view into the trees and the smaller, twin room, with offset bunk beds. The living room has a smart tv. There's also a well equipped bathroom with a great shower. Downstairs is accessed through a trapdoor in the floor to the kitchen or the fun way via the tube slide. Double doors open onto the backyard, which has an outdoor fireplace, pizza oven and bbq.

Secluded hideaway, heated pool, walks, fossils

The Annex is bright, comfortable and cosy with a wood burner for winter. The public footpath crossing our garden next to the river Char links with many others - great for dog walkers. We are close to Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis – renowned for their fossil treasures. Love swimming? our freshwater pool is generally heated to a very cosy 29 - 30 degrees (warm bath temperature) and can be used from April to October With advance notice, the twin beds can be connected to form a king size bed

With shops, cafes, pubs and bus stops on your doorstep – and Charmouth’s famous fossil beach a 10 minute walk away – it’s the perfect base for exploring this beautiful stretch of Dorset. Whether you’re walking the South West Coast Path, visiting Lyme Regis (10 minutes by car), having a beach holiday, or simply unwinding by the sea, this cottage makes the ideal seaside escape.

The reading room....the perfect getaway for 2

The Reading Room is a separate annex of The Old Chapel in the main High Street in Charmouth. It's within 60 steps to the High St. Charmouth Beach is approx 5 minutes stroll. A unique space with a huge vaulted ceiling spacious kitchen, dining/ living area, modern integrated appliances and a beautiful oak floor. It has parking for one vehicle and a small outdoor space to the side of the Chapel with blue table and chairs for 2 people. Be aware steps to the bed platform are steep.

We are in love the little study & ornate window shutters throughout.

Welcome to Baba Yaga’s Boudoir! A beautiful little cabin-on-wheels tucked away at the bottom of a small farm focussed on sustainability and spiritual practise, hidden in a willow wood and overlooking a wild pond. Please note I've put in some extra measures in response to COVID-19 to help make sure my guests stay as safe as possible whilst effecting your stay as minimally as possible. Seaview from cosy army lorry near Lyme Regis

Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.

Jurassic coast Glamping, West Dorset

The Cabin is privately located in Seatown a small hamlet under Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast and next to the SW Coast Path, 200m from the sea and world heritage Jurassic Coast. The Cabin is has everything you will need including a spare camp bed and bbq. View Lyme bay, sunset and sea while dinning or just with a drink, in the Anchor inn beer garden on the cliff. Dogs welcome.

This modern, self contained apartment has all you need for a relaxing break on the Jurassic Coast, close to Lyme Regis and with parking for two cars. (Unsuitable for children under 10 or those not keen to use the ladder to the mezzanine bedroom.)
