A one-bedroom carriage house apartment in a newly constructed lowcountry cottage located in the beautiful Stock Farm neighborhood of Historic Old Town Bluffton within walking distance of the many restaurants, galleries, shops and historic buildings this charming town has to offer. Comfortable, cozy and tastefully decorated, "The Bluffton Bird House" features new kitchen appliances, a full-size stacked LG washer and dryer and all the amenities necessary to guarantee a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Springtide Suite is a spacious apartment (1,100sq ft!) that occupies the ground floor of our home located just outside city limits, 17 miles from Tybee and 15-20 minutes from the downtown Historic District. It sleeps six with 1 official bedroom with 2 twin beds. 2 other twin beds and a bunk bed are located in more open common area. Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), large bathroom ( shower only) including laundry room. 3 car parking area directly in front of the Airbnb!

It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. The room has a small private bath with shower with rain head, a full closet, coffee maker and fridge, vanity table. Mark, co-host, is a retired local guide who can provide information if needed. It is conveniently located in a quiet, southside neighborhood: less than a mile from Lake Mayer park, about 10 minutes from Sandfly & Skidaway, 15 minutes from downtown and River Street, and only 30 minutes to Tybee beaches. There is covered parking at the back and a beautiful live oak tree in the front.

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

We are 30 mins from Historic downtown Savannah.

This vacation studio was a labor of love -- I wanted to create a truly unique, comfy, open space, with a cool, eclectic vibe. We built a new bathroom and private entrance, with ceilings bumped up to the roof. We more recently added a small deck outside the guests' door, and created a funky garden/sitting area as well.
