National Historic Registry Home on UTC Campus Near Downtown

Winner of the Fort Wood National Historic Renovation Award, this home was built in 1891 by Major Joseph Warner, once a Civil War prisoner of War, as the carriage house for his nearby mansion. It was built by Major Joseph Warner, a Civil War Prisoner of War, as the Carriage House for his mansion just over the north fence. The owners have restored three Ft. Wood homes so far & each one has been crafted to assure a home environment. This is your private home to enjoy as you & your guests decide. Cross the road to reach the University of Tennessee Chattanooga Fine Arts School. Take a tour of local historic homes, and walk to numerous downtown dining and entertainment spots. Chattanooga's famed outdoor venues are only a short hop away. A city-owned bicycle rental station is just across the street. This quiet, safe neighborhood away from Downtown and MLK traffic noise is patrolled by both Chattanooga and UTC police. A very dog friendly neighborhood. Uber is everywhere - this is a college campus. Or driving to Downtown is less than 5 minutes.
