Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of the County, we are near to many great walks, National Trust & English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

It is well-equipped with a quality kitchen area, dining area and sitting area with Wi-Fi and Sky TV. The bedroom has a large double bed and plenty of storage space. It is 2 minutes drive off the A49 in Batch Valley with immediate accessibility of vast walking, biking trails &1 minutes walk to the local pub(The Yew Tree) which serves excellent food. One mile from Church Stretton Cardingmill Valley & has access to over 12 local pubs in the area . Dogs are very welcome at a small extra cost..

Our stunning 2 bedroom self contained private lodge is situated in the heart of the Shropshire Hills within walking distance of the Longmynd, Carding Mill Valley, Caer Caradoc and Church Stretton - a great base for walkers and mountain bikers. The village of Church Stretton is a short walk and boasts a bakery, Co-op, Indian Restaurant, fish and chip shop, pubs and boutique coffee shops. Church Stretton train station provides a connection to nearby towns. Please declare dogs during booking.

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
