Welcome to Driftland Cabin, a charming, hand-crafted log home nestled on nearly 3 acres of lush, wooded land in the gated Old Timberline community with direct access to Dolly Sods. This inviting cabin offers rustic charm and modern amenities. The open living area with a cozy wood stove is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with loved ones. On the rear deck, a sauna, hot tub, gas fire table and pizza oven are available. We provide a kayak for guests to enjoy on nearby Sand Run Lake.

Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

Tucked inside the oldest historic buildings on the main drag in Thomas and adorned with 135-year old plaster walls, original woodwork, encaustic tile and purple marble - this tastefully styled flat is for those looking for the transportive experience historic buildings deliver. A tall farmhouse with high ceilings and a big backyard on a gentle wooded hillside. We have 4 bedrooms with a queen bed in each and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, also a crib in the master bedroom. A great space for cookouts with a view of Backbone mountain and the farm land of Pleasant Valley. You'll be 25 minutes from the Wisp resort at Deep Creek Lake and less than 5 minutes outside of the town of Oakland with the historic B&O railroad museum.

Tree House

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
