Tranquil cottage Forest of Dean

Wake up to the sound of bird song and enjoy the serenity of this lovely dog friendly cottage in Alvington. Explore The Forest of Dean with its many walking and cycling trails, where there is the opportunity to see wild boar, pine martins and deer. Close to attractions eg Tintern Abbey, FOD steam Railway, Symonds Yat and the lovely Wye valley. Not a retail therapy destination. Cleaning and change of linen are undertaken weekly, for longer stays the cleaning fee is £40 Max stay of 4 weeks

The Bothy Cottage @ Oak Farm

The Bothy, part of our 17th century Welsh farmhouse, offers a perfect base to explore Monmouthshire & the Brecon Beacons. Recently renovated, it has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed & bathroom with shower. Downstairs there’s a large living room w/sofabed and full kitchen. We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. The Hall Inn iswithin easy walking distance and there's a log fire for nights in - ideal for a weekend in the country

The Dairy

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. You can walk/cycle for miles without touching a road. Collect eggs, milk and ice cream from the farm next door Tintern Abbey with its pubs and restaurants is a walk away (an hour); the races, music at the Castle, Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood, steam train.. and more. 3 bedroom, peaceful, secluded, & large garden

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Great for cycling, exploring, and walking or just relaxing. Badgers Bothy is set within a woodland glade in the grounds of the 16th century Amberley Farmhouse and provides the most unique and charming country escape. Our idyllic cottage is set on the edge of Minchinhampton Common (located in an AONB) and with miles of footpaths which are perfect for those wishing to explore the Cotswolds. This beautiful cottage exudes an aura of peace and tranquillity and a haven for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life.

The Barn Annexe

A very light and airy lovely space - a new Simba standard double mattress which I believe is really comfortable. This is a peaceful location but very near to the Mall, the Wave and the Zoo and only 6 miles from town - a perfect nights sleep on a SIMBA mattress and supplied with large fluffy white towels and everything you need for a night away from home . We also have a new TV with iplayer and Netflix’s, new washing machine and a decent non stick frying pan.

Gilliflower self-contained - great location

Gilliflower is one of 3 stables, on our Grade 2 listed farm. It is situated on a quiet, secluded yard next to Elstar and Russet, with off street gated parking. Gilliflower overlooks our fields where our Llamas, Alpacas and horses live. Perfectly located for Yate, Badminton, Bristol, walks in the Cotswolds and their beautiful villages and slightly further afield Bath, Cheltenham.
